Today I wanted to take a quick minute to talk about the challenge we just held at GWA; Operation Beach Bod! It is the third challenge we have held in the past few months and I want to take the time to congratulate everybody who has participated in a challenge, and particularly the 16 clients who most recently spent 6 weeks challenging themselves to something new.
I think it is really inspiring and brave for clients to put themselves out there and challenge themselves both physically and emotionally.
For this particular challenge we had clients set roughly 3 goals each and have either 1 or 2 personal training sessions each week. We measured body fat percentage, overall inches, weight, strength, and some clients even took before and after pictures! Client goals ranged from wanting to lose weight, wanting to put on size, wanting to increase strength, wanting to get back into a regular fitness routine, wanting to get back into a pair of pants, and wanting to increase self-esteem.
Everybody received a GWA OBB Shirt, and we awarded a $75 gift card to the client who most closely met their goals, and in this challenge that was Clayton!
In 6 weeks Clayton:
Lost 4.22% Body Fat
Lost 10.87lbs of Fat
and still managed to put on 1/2" overall!
