Haute Route Day 6
I had my most fun day yet. I road the first half of the day with Dave and Sean. We did some serious page line work on the 60 km flats section. So awesome.
I can't believe tomorrow is the last day. So proud of the crew and how everyone has risen to the various challenges presented in an event like this.
Only one mountain to climb tomorrow, maybe there's a chance for a result for this guy. You never know.

Haute Route Day 7
Done and dusted. We all finished this amazing 7 day grind through some of the most difficult mountains anywhere. Day 7 was awesome. I was hoping to be able to stay close enough to the top climbers on the first and only climb of the day, but at 10km long and an average of 9% it wasn't meant to be. I lost around 12 minutes to the lead pack.
My day however was great. The next 80 km of rolling country side was perfect. Got into a pretty large group and we worked well. Decided to make things racy and hard, and eventually broke away with 3 other guys inside that last 20km. Great way to finish, so much fun.
The other guys all rolled together and had a blast. I'm so proud of the boys for completing their first ever 7-day stage race. These things are not easy and test your body and mind in ways you can't predict.
Can't wait for the next one....
