Pat has been resistance training for 10 years, where he has trained for a variety of goals, including bodybuilding, powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, and athletic strength and conditioning.
During his university degree, Pat studied human anatomy and physiology, and their adaptations to nutrition and exercise. He has trained clinical populations working at UBC, as well as with Special Olympics swimming. In athletics, he has worked with UBC Varsity teams as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for Field Hockey, Baseball, and Track & Field.
Pat aims not only to help you reach your goals, but to teach you to move well, prevent injury, and reduce pain! Using joint and muscle testing and the Functional Movement Screen, Pat will perform efficient assessments to unveil imbalances in strength, mobility, or stability.
In addition to challenging workouts, Pat will integrate exercise with nutrition, sleep, and stress management to optimize results. He believes in making movement a daily part of life, and will provide strength and mobility exercises that can be done without equipment to encourage this.
Pat’s is a huge fan of playing and watching tennis, but also enjoys acrobatics and has competed in the Cheerleading World Championships in 2018! On the weekends, he is a piano teacher, sharing his love of music to children and adults alike.
