Nathan Lee
My training style could be described as:
Calculated, methodological, compassionate and dedicated. My job will solely be to prioritize your goals and provide you with a means of achieving it through an individualized and most importantly, enjoyable way. I will work to analyze and optimize your movement patterns through evidence-based exercise and manual therapy techniques to help you move better and feel stronger. My experience working with mental health services also helps me acknowledge one’s mental wellbeing and its intertwining effects on their physical performance and will do my best to make things challenging, feasible and applicable to you as an individual.
My area of expertise is:
My 5+ combined years in clinical and high performance settings coupled with my fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin allows me to work with a wide variety of the population. This has ranged from preparing professional athletes such as the Vancouver Whitecaps to compete at an elite level, to rehabilitating older adults from injuries sustained as a result of motor vehicle accidents, or simply helping a desk job worker become conditioned and stronger. Moreover, through my background in years of powerlifting as a competitor and a coach, my comprehensive skill set not only allows me to help you realize your potential, but to motivate and encourage you towards attaining it in a safe, efficient, and effective way.
In a session with me you can expect:
To fall in love with the process of implementing a routine that will help you reach your own goals. Whether you are seeing me for injury rehabilitation or to break some personal records, you will notice improvements over time through smart goal setting. You will learn the “why” behind the “what” and most importantly, you will sweat and be out of breath from laughter and obviously…getting stronger.
